The December Spanish-language edition of National Geographic magazine devotes front and centre to the world's oldest treasure from the fifth millennium BC, which is part of the rich collection of the Archaeological Museum in Varna, the State Cultural Institute under the Minister of Foreign Affairs said on its Facebook page. 

The Varna necropolis was discovered in the 1970s in the city and has delighted thousands of tourists. In October 2022, Varna's gold was featured in detail in the Bulgarian edition of National Geographic.
