The spectacle Opera D'amore, created by Bulgarians, will be performed in 5 Belgian cities between October 8 and October 15, the Bulgarian Embassy in the country said on its Facebook page on Tuesday.

The performance brings together ten iconic operatic acts and scenes from seven of the greatest operas of all time: Georges Bizet's Carmen, Giuseppe Verdi's Rigoletto and La Traviata, Giacomo Puccini's Tosca and PucciniLa Boheme, Pietro Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana and Ruggero Leoncavallo's Pagliacci.

It will be presented in Antwerp on October 8, in Ghent on October 10, in Liege on October 14 and in Brussels on October 15.

On October 12 the show will also be presented in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

"This ground-breaking show, unprecedented in the world of opera, will take us on a magical journey with spectacular 3D visual effects and interactive stage sets, crystal clear sound and a stunning blend of performing arts and cinema, bringing the classical art of opera into the 21st century," noted the Embassy.

"We will witness some of the most popular love scenes, duets, arias and overtures by legendary composers such as Verdi, Puccini, Bizet, presented live by world-class singers," the press release reads.

The performance features opera singers of Ilina Mihaylova, Rosen Nenchev, Edelina Kaneva and Ventseslav Anastasov, as well as foreign performers, conducted by Maestro Dimitar Kosev.
