The mountains offer poor hiking conditions on Friday, the Mountain Rescue Service with the Bulgarian Red Cross told BTA.
The weather is clear, with a light wind in the higher parts, but quite cold. The terrain is icy and hikers are advised to set out with the appropriate equipment.
The facilities in the ski resorts are operational.
