site.btaPresident Radev to Meet with Hungarian PM Orban Dec. 20

Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev is scheduled to meet with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on December 20, the President's press secretariat said. Orban will pay a visit to Sofia at Radev's invitation.

The talks are expected to focus on ways to further deepen the friendly relations between Bulgaria and Hungary, matters on the EU agenda and the security environment in the region. The two officials will make statements to the media after the meeting.

Meeting with Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto on December 13, Radev thanked Hungary for its support for Bulgaria's entry in the border-free Schengen area. The Bulgarian President praised Hungary for its successful stint at the Presidency of the EU Council.
