The mountains offer good hiking conditions on Tuesday, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) of the Bulgarian Red Cross told BTA.

The weather conditions are wintry, with winds in the higher parts of the mountains. 

The facilities at the resorts that have opened will be operational, the MRS added. 

It will be sunny in the mountains, with strong and stormy northwesterly wind, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology said. Temperatures will be warmer, with highs of around 9C at 1,200 m and around 3C at 2,000 m.
