site.btaConference in Vienna Gathers Professors, Students of Bulgarian Studies under Auspices of VP Iotova
Bulgarian Vice President Iliana Iotova is paying an official visit to Vienna on December 4 and 5, where the 10th jubilee international conference for students, PhD students and lecturers in Bulgarian studies will be held under the auspices of the Vice President, the President's press secretariat reported. The event is organized by Vienna's Haus Wittgenstein with the support of the Bulgarian Embassy in Austria.
The conference is the largest event outside Bulgaria that brings together experts in Bulgarian studies. The forum gathers participants from 14 countries, including Bulgaria, who will present their research on "Crossroads: Introversion and Extroversion of Bulgarian Culture. European Contexts". Representatives of 25 universities - mostly from Europe, but also from Japan and India - will participate in the event.
On December 4, Iotova will confer with representatives of the five Bulgarian Sunday schools in Austria. Iotova's programme also includes a visit to the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, where she will hold talks with leaders of the organization, as well as with women in senior positions across various sectors of Austrian and Bulgarian business.
