Rumen Rumenov achieved a victory on Wednesday in his first match at the Grand Prix boxing tournament in the Croatian capital Zagreb.

In the 67 kg category, the Bulgarian, who recently won a bronze medal at the European Youth Championship, defeated the host country's representative Ivan Bozac by unanimous decision.

The competition in Croatia began on Wednesday and will run until December 7, with 90 boxers from 14 countries taking part. The Bulgarian national team is led by coach Peycho Bagdatov.
