site.btaBTA Entered Into Public Register of Cultural Organizations

The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) was entered into the public Register of Cultural Organizations on the basis of the Protection and Development of Culture Act. The Ministry of Culture issued a certificate of registration of a cultural organization to the national news agency.

Cultural organizations carry out activities related to the creation, dissemination and preservation of cultural values. These organizations are state, municipal, private or mixed, the law states.

The Ministry of Culture maintains the Register of Cultural Organizations, which is publicly available on its website and the information is stored through an electronic database managed by an information system.

The BTA Act stipulates that  the national news agency protects and promotes the literary Bulgarian language, national traditions and culture.
