site.btaCC-DB Representatives Confer with Supporters in Veliko Tarnovo

Representatives of the Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) coalition held a meeting with supporters in Veliko Tarnovo, North Central Bulgaria, on Saturday. At the start of the meeting, the gathered people commemorated Bulgarian rock legend Kiril Marichkov with a minute of silence. Marichkov died on October 11 at the age of 79.

CC-DB top-of-the-list-candidate in Veliko Tarnovo Lyudmila Ilieva underscored that the slogan of their election campaign is "Let’s take care of Bulgaria". Bulgaria can be taken care of if everyone acts together, she stressed.

Addressing the event, CC Co-chair Kiril Petkov noted that in the next National Assembly the CC-DB parliamentary group will table a proposal to deprive any Supreme Judicial Council with an expired mandate from having the power to elect Bulgaria’s next Prosecutor General.

Atanas Atanasov, Chair of the Democrats for Strong Bulgaria party, which is part of the coalition, said that CC-DB is the only significant alternative to the status quo in Bulgaria.
