site.btaAI's Impact on Financial Services to Be Discussed at Forum in Sofia

The impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the way financial services are delivered will be discussed here on Thursday at the Innovation Forum in Sofia, the organisers from the Bank of the Year Association said.

AI algorithms are becoming tools for decision-making, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, fraud detection, personalized banking, advancing so-called "conversational" AI - chatbots and personal assistants, and AI back-office automation.

Among the topics to be discussed at the forum are whether AI will become an indispensable tool amid avalanching regulations for major European industries, the trends in AI used in the financial sector in 2024, if there will be a growing demand and development of mobile payments, cybersecurity and the use of biometrics.

Scheduled to attend are Petia Dimitrova, CEO of Postbank and Chairperson of the Association of Banks in Bulgaria, Tsvetanka Mincheva, CEO of UniCredit Bulbank, Nikola Bakalov, CEO of First Investment Bank, Georgi Zamanov , CEO of Allianz Bank Bulgaria, among others.
