The weather conditions for mountain hiking will be good on Saturday, with sunny weather and little wind, the Mountain Rescue Service reported on Saturday morning.

Conditions for hiking are slightly worse around Mount Botev in the Balkan mountain range, with fog and moderate wind. There is still snow at 2,000 m and higher.

Rain and thunders are likely in the Rhodope Mountains in the afternoon.

Mild west-northwesterly wind, mild to moderate in the higher areas, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology. Highs: 18C at 1,200 m, 12C at 2,000 m.
