Truck traffic is heavy at some of the border crossings with Romania, Greece and Turkiye on Tuesday morning, Border Police said.

On the border with Romania, traffic is intense at the border crossing points Oryahovo and Kardam at the exit for trucks.

Due to the overhaul of the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, vehicles pass through one lane regulated by traffic lights. In addition to the Ruse checkpoint, drivers in the region can also head to Silistra, Kardam, Durankulak, Kainardzha and Krushari. The last two have working hours from 8 am to 8 pm every day and no goods vehicles are allowed through them.

On the border with Turkiye, traffic is heavy at Kapitan Andreevo at the truck exit. Temporarily, the crossing of checkpoint Malko Tarnovo will be carried out on one route due to reconstruction.

On the border with Greece, traffic is heavy at Kulata’s exit for goods vehicles. 

On the border with Serbia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points.

On the border with North Macedonia, traffic is also normal at all border crossing points.
