Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) leader Korneliya Ninova said that her party will table a bill on volunteering. The draft law will establish different rights and obligations for both volunteers and organizers of volunteering events.
BSP MP Kristian Vigenin believes that the party tables a well-drafted bill that regulates main issues with volunteering. He voiced hope that the provisions will be supported by all parties in Parliament.
Gabriel Valkov, Chair of BSP’s youth chapter, noted that Bulgaria is the only EU country that does not have such a law.
