site.btaBogdana Panayotova Appointed as Sofia's Acting Chief Architect

Bogdana Panayotova is the acting Chief Architect of Sofia Municipality, the press centre of the Municipality reported here on Monday. Preparatory activities for the competition for the election of a new chief architect have started.

Panayotova has over ten years of administrative experience as chief architect in Haskovo Municipality and Svilengrad Municipality. She was the head of the Haskovo Regional Directorate for National Construction Control.

Panayotova holds a full design competency certificate from the Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria (CAB). She is a member of CAB, of the Bulgarian Association of Consulting Engineers and Architects and the Union of Architects in Bulgaria.

Panayotova holds a master's degree in Architecture from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Sofia.

Sofia's previous chief architect Zdravko Zdravkov tendered his resignation on July 26, and his resignation was accepted by Mayor Vassil Terziev.
