A 23-year-old national of Kosovo is in 24-hour police custody after he tested positive for use of a narcotic substance during a check on the road between Dupnitsa and Kyustendil, the police said on Tuesday.

Fast-track police proceedings have been instituted against the man at the Bobov Dol police, and a duty prosecutor has been notified of the case.

The police specified that the foreign national is also subject to seizure of the motor car whose driver has been detected as having operated the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
