The European People's Party (EPP) insists in a special letter to the European Commission (EC) Vice-President and Commissioner for Values and Transparency Vera Jourova and EU Justice Commissioner Didier Reynders that the EC should publicly condemn the actions of the former Bulgarian government, headed by Kiril Petkov and the Interior Ministry over the illegal arrest of the opposition GERB party leader Boyko Borissov, the GERB press centre said on Thursday.
