site.btaTen Bulgarians Rescued from Damaged Boat in the Aegean

Ten Bulgarians were rescued from a damaged sailing boat off the Greek island of Skopelos in the western Aegean Sea on Thursday, the daily Kathimerini reported quoting an article in SkiathosLife.gr.

The boat sent an SOS signal after it became apparent there was a problem with the rudder. Another vessel operated by Seajets was sailing nearby and responded to the signal. The Coast Guard also responded to the alert and headed to the scene fast.

The sailboat was towed. All ten of its passengers are fine.
