site.btaBulgaria's Constitutional Court to Host First Meeting of Balkan Constitutional Forum
The first annual meeting of the Balkan Constitutional Forum will take place here on Friday. Onthe initiative of Bulgaria's Constitutional Court, the Forum will be set up as a follow-up on the good cooperation with the constitutional courts of neighbouring Balkan countries. The forum will be a tool for exchanging ideas, good practices and experience in constitutional law, the Constitutional Court reported.
Constitutional magistrates from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, Romania, North Macedonia, Turkiye, Croatia and Montenegro will attend the meeting.
Attending the forum in Sofia will also be President of the Court of Justice of the European Union Koen Lenaerts, Marko Bošnjak - Vice President of the European Court of Human Rights, and European Commission Vice President Věra Jourová.
Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabirel and Justice Minister Atanas Slavov will address the participants in the forum.
