The Foreign Ministry warned Friday Bulgarian citizens of upcoming protests in Belgrade this weekend, the Ministry said on its official website.  Two protests are scheduled in Serbia's capital Belgrade for August 26.

The first protest is organized by the Alliance of Environmental Organisations of Serbia and is scheduled to take place between 2 pm and 10 pm, as the protesters will block the Gazela Bridge and the E-75 road.

The second is the 17th under the slogan "Serbia Against Violence" and is scheduled to start at 7 pm in front of the Parliament building. The parliamentary opposition parties involved in the organization of the "Serbia Against Violence" protests did not wish to join the eco-activists' protest, the Foreign Ministry pointed out.

The Ministry reminds that Bulgarian citizens in Serbia can turn to the Bulgarian diplomatic mission in Belgrade if they need assistance. Consular assistance can also be obtained from the Consulate General of Bulgaria in Nis.
