It is important not to link relations between fans with relations between countries or any ethnic groups or nations, said North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani on Saturday regarding the assault of a group of Bulgarian football fans on Thursday evening in Skopje. “This is a separate world of fans, and if we allow interconnections and spillovers to be made so easily, we will only harm relations,” he added, quoted by MIA.
