Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Mariya Gabriel discussed with Serbian Ambassador to Bulgaria Zeljko Jovic the strategic role of innovations and digitalization in foreign policy, Gabriel said on Facebook. 

Bulgaria’s top diplomat thanked for the readiness to work towards providing more opportunities for young people and the Bulgarian community in Serbia.

Mariya Gabriel also met with Hungary’s Ambassador in Bulgaria Tekla Harangozo. The discussions focused on culture. “I thank her for her active and consistent work for deepening bilateral relations between Hungary and Bulgaria,” Gabriel wrote on Facebook.

The Bulgarian Foreign Minister also congratulated the Hungarian Ambassador for receiving the Order of the Madara Horseman, First Class, on the occasion of the end of her ambassadorial term in Bulgaria.

Gabriel said she is looking forward to meeting Harangozo again during her visit to Budapest in October.
