Speaking to the press in Parliament on Wednesday, MRF-New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski said: "They will work with Peevski from now on because this is what people want."

Asked on what conditions he would support the ruling majority following the Constitutional Court ruling and the entry of the Velichie party in Parliament, Peevski said: "I have already stated: It is not the ruling majority I will support but the people. We will back the 2025 State Budget Bill because it is in the best interest of the people."

Peevski also said: "They have no choice but to go along with me, whether now or in the next Parliament because this is what people have decided. At the moment, MRF-New Beginning is the second-largest party, and it could be the first in the next elections."

Asked if he was referring to GERB, which is the biggest parliamentary force, or to all parties, Peevski said: "[I mean] those who want to run the country." 

After the recalculation of the October 2024 election results, 10 MPs of the Velichie party entered Parliament. Before the review, it was just 21 votes short of the electoral threshold.
