Sofia, May 2 (BTA) - In 2017, one Bulgarian in 10 did hard manual labour, according to an analysis by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat).

Some 28 per cent of Bulgarians worked standing in 2017. Another 28 per cent applied moderate physical effort while working.

About 20 per cent of working people in this country describe their working conditions as "poor," 60 per cent describe them as "satisfactory," and the remaining 20 per cent find that they are "excellent."

A quarter of Bulgarians working in a forced position (sitting or standing) say they have real or potential health problems associated with their forced position. IG/VE//
