The government approved additional outlays for the 2024 budget of the Ministry of Defence at the expense of capital expenditure on the 2024 central budget, the government press office said after the ministers' weekly meeting Wednesday.

The extra funding of BGN 9,583,200 will be spent for the acquisition of high-tech equipment, which will allow the Military Medical Academy to improve the quality of surgical interventions and to provide patients from the Bulgarian Army with the best treatment options.
