site.btaPolice Officers Find Cannabis in Private Property in Govedartsi Village

Officers from the Samokov District Administration discovered cannabis in a private property in the village of Govedartsi in Samokov Municipality, said the Sofia Regional Directorate of the Interior Ministry on Wednesday.

The officers confiscated approximately one kilogram of marijuana, two electronic scales and nutritional supplements. The property belongs to a 39-year-old man, who admitted that he had grown the plants in the two greenhouses in the yard of the property.

The man was detained for up to 24 hours. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
