BDZ Cargo, Georgian Railway and a Bulgarian sea shipping company signed an agreement to restore ferry traffic across the Black Sea at a meeting in Tbilisi, the cargo division of Bulgaria's national railway company reported on Friday.
Restoring the carriage of goods by sea and rail is an important part of Bulgaria's economic relations with Georgia and of the effort to expand the use of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, the press release said.
The agreement revives the cooperation between BDZ Cargo and Georgian Railway in this field after an earlier agreement expired in 2018.
