site.btaMayors of Razgrad and Moldovan City of Stauceni Sign Partnership Agreement

Razgrad Mayor Dobrin Dobrev and Stauceni (Chisinau Municipality, Moldova) Mayor Alexandru Vornicu signed a partnership and cooperation agreement between the two cities on Monday. 

The signed agreement envisages that the two cities implement joint measures to stimulate regional development, promote cooperation in the economic sphere, as well as assist in the development of relations in the humanitarian, social, health, scientific, sports and cultural spheres.

Dobrev presented the main economic sectors that are developing in Razgrad and expressed hope that the two cities will be useful to each other and that the process will provide many opportunities for cultural exchange, as well as for business and other types of endeavours that will contribute to the well-being of the residents of the regions.

"I hope that our cooperation will develop and will be useful for the people in both countries, as we also have a Bulgarian community", Vornicu said, extending an invitation to the delegation from Razgrad to visit the feast of Stauceni in September.

The signing of the document was attended by Municipal Councilors from Stauceni and Razgrad, as well as Razgrad Deputy Mayors Elka Nedelcheva, Polina Ivanova and Zornitsa Evgenieva.
