Bulgaria's Ambassador to Japan Marieta Arabadjieva attended the annual meeting of the Japan-Bulgaria Economic Committee, which took place in Tokyo on July 1, the Bulgarian Embassy in the Japanese capital wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

Arabadjieva informed the members of the Committee about the construction of the Bulgarian pavilion at Expo Osaka, which was launched on June 24, and briefed them on the events planned by the Bulgarian diplomatic mission to boost bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

Among the topics discussed were also Bulgaria's participation in Tourism EXPO Japan 2024 in September and the upcoming first ever Bulgarian-Japanese symposium in the field of information technology and artificial intelligence, which will be held in Tokyo on January 31, 2025.
