Russia attacked the Odesa region with drones and missiles during the night and at dawn, Odesa regional military administration chairman Oleg Kipper said on the Telegram app. 

In the early hours, drones were launched, attacking the energy infrastructure. Ukrainian air defence forces shot down two drones, Kipper said.

At about 5:30 am the Russians attacked Odesa with ballistic missiles.

According to the regional governor, on the very day Odesa was freed from occupation, the Russians hit objects of critical transport and logistics infrastructure. Two employees of the transport company are currently known to have been injured.

Damage has also been caused to an energy site, a private house and several cars.

By some miracle people were not injured, Kipper added.
