site.bta298 Newly Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Over Past 24 Hours

July 18 (BTA) - Over the past 24 hours in Bulgaria 298
new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed out of 4,884 PCR tests,
according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg.

So far, 201,363 tests have confirmed a total of 8,442 cases of
the novel coronavirus, of which 3,924 are active. The number of
recoveries rose to 4,033, with 106 new recoveries since
yesterday.

The death toll reached 297, with 4 new deaths in the past 24
hours.
   
A total of 606 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, and 33 of
them are in intensive care.

The number of infected medical staff is 560.
