Türkiye produces 5 million cu m of natural gas daily, including 4 million in the Black Sea, said the CEO of the Turkish Petroleum Corporation TPAO, Melih Han Bilgin, as quoted in the Turkish news media. Türkiye has intensified production at the Sakarya gas field, the largest discovery in the Black Sea, to approximately 4 million cubic meters of natural gas per day and together with the onshore production, it adds up to 5 million cu m, he said.

Bilgin said that the company continues to ramp up production at this offshore field to reach the planned capacity of 10 million cu m of natural gas per day.
