site.btaBulgarian Military Delegation Led by Chief of Defence Visits Iron Church in Istanbul

A Bulgarian military delegation led by the Chief of Defence, Admiral Emil Eftimov, visited the St Stephen Iron Church in Istanbul on Wednesday. The guests, accompanied by Bulgarian Consul General Vassil Valchev, were acquainted with the history of the Bulgarian church's opening and restoration. The delegation were welcomed at the Bulgarian Consulate General in Istanbul, where they held talks with Valchev.

The military delegation is in Istanbul for the 16th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF 23), one of the biggest events in defence industry, which is on from July 25 to 28. Bulgaria has its own stall presenting leading companies in the sector, such as Kintex, Arsenal, and others.

Participating in the fair are 650 local and 850 foreign companies. It welcomes around 200 delegations this year.
