Ivelina Dundakova has been appointed Deputy Minister of the Interior, the press centre of the Council of Ministers said on Wednesday. Dundakova is a long-serving employee of the Interior Ministry. She is currently head of the Regional Cooperation and International Organizations Department in the EU and International Cooperation Directorate and was previously a senior expert in the Analysis and Policies Directorate at the Interior Ministry. Ivelina Dundakova has held the position of Advisor to the National Counter-Terrorism and Security Coordinator under the Ministry of Justice and Security in the Netherlands. She has also worked as a risk analyst at the Tax Office of the Ministry of Finance in the Netherlands. She holds a degree in International Relations and Security Issues from St. Kliment Ohridski" and "Management, Economics and Law" at "Inholland University" in Rotterdam.
