Denitsa Peneva presents new solo exhibition entitled "Illustratorium II" which consists of scientific illustrations. The exhibition, which marks Peneva's 40th aniversary, can be seen until July 25 at the Regional History Museum in Sofia, the Museum reported.

The exhibition includes works that have been part of thematic exhibitions, as well as awarded works from prestigious competitions.

Peneva is among the prominent names in scientific illustration in Bulgaria. On June 10, she won first place in the Natural History Illustration category of a competition run by the Spanish National Research Council. The artist is deputy head of the Society of Animal, Floral and Scientific Illustrators in Bulgaria.
