site.btaBulgarian Special Operations Forces to Hold Exercise June 28

The capabilities of the Bulgarian Special Operations Forces will be demonstrated during Exercise Stealth Dagger - 23, to be held on June 28. Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and Defence Minister Todorov Tagarev are expected to attend.

The demonstration will take place at the Tsrancha Training Centre. Capabilities related to the execution of the main missions of the Special Operations Forces will be demonstrated.

Stealth Dagger 23 will certify the combat capabilities of a special operations tactical group according to NATO Allied Command Operations. The tactical group is part of a NATO Response Force formation.

The certification exercise take place between June 19 and 30 in central and eastern Bulgaria and at the main centres of the special forces. It includes formations, forces and equipment from the Joint Special Operations Command, aircraft, and Bulgarian Air Force crews and mechanics e as well as formations and general staff personnel from the US and Romanian special forces.
