The caretaker government Wednesday adopted a report on the implementation in 2021 of the updated National Strategy for the Demographic Development of the Population of the Republic of Bulgaria, the government's information service said. The positive trends noted in the document are the improvement of living standards and quality of life in this country, a growing net migration rate, a total fertility rate remaining close to the EU average, and an increase in the number of marriages.
