Bulgarian caretaker Foreign Minister Nikolay Milkov addressed the Second Summit for Information and Democracy held on the initiative of France at the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on September 22, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry said on Friday. The initiative seeks to identify how disinformation undermines the resilience of democratic societies and find instruments to ensure media freedom. In his speech at the summit Milkov stressed that Bulgaria supports the Journalism Trust Initiative under the Partnership for Information and Democracy.
