Checks Establish 107 Cases of Wrongdoing in Public Procurement Procedures Worth Nearly 32 Million Leva

Sofia, January 8 (BTA) - In the last quarter of 2015 inspectors of the Public Financial Inspection Agency (PFIA) conducted 156 financial checks, of which 84 following alerts, and 72 scheduled in the annual plan of PFIA.

The inspections established damage to the amount of 998,377 leva, 758,994 leva out of which were recovered during the checks. The checks also established 107 cases of non-conducted or unduly conducted public procurement procedures worth nearly 32 million leva. A total of 348 statements of administrative offences were drawn up.
