Bulgarian Socialist Party HoldsInternal Party Voting for Presidential Elections in June 27 to July 3

Sofia, June 14 (BTA) - On June 27 to July 3 the left-wing opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will hold an internal voting procedure on issues concerning the upcoming presidential elections, Chairman of the commission preparing the voting Anton Koutev said. A total of 150,000 ballots have been printed and an awareness campaign about the procedure is underway.

Eligible to take part in the voting are all BSP members whose names are on the BSP chapter registers. The Socialists are asked to say how the party is to take part in the presidential elections and with which formations to conduct negotiations on naming joint candidates.

The results of the voting will be publicized at the start of July, Koutev said.
