115 Million Leva Agreement Signed to Renovate Water Supply System in Dobrich

Dobrich, Northeastern Bulgaria, December 29 (BTA) - Environment and Water Minister Ivelina Vassileva and Dobrich Mayor Yordan Yordanov on Thursday signed a 115 million leva financing agreement for the renovation of the water supply system in the northeastern town.

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said at the ceremony that the large sum has been secured thanks to EU funding and the fight against smuggling which has boosted public revenues.

Borissov said 87 million leva in central government money is coming to Dobrich. He noted that water waste is particularly serious in this town.
