2016 GDP Up 3.4% Y/Y - Preliminary Data

Sofia, March 7 (BTA) - GDP at current prices amounted to 25,800 million leva in the fourth quarter of 2016, preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute show.

In euro terms, GDP stood at 13,191 million in total and 1,849 euro per capita. According to seasonally adjusted figures, the GDP grew by 3.4 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2016 compared to the like period in 2015 and 0.9 per cent compared to the previous quarter.

GDP at current prices amounted to 92,635 million leva in 2016. In euro terms the GDP stood at 47,363 million or 6,630 euro per capita. The GDP for 2016 increased by 3.4 per cent in real terms compared to 2015.
