Sofia, December 28 (BTA) - The total business climate indicator in December went down by 0.5 percentage points compared to a month previously. This is due to the more unfavourable business climate in industry, the National Statistical Institute said Friday.

The composite indicator 'business climate in industry' decreased by 2.7 percentage points, mainly due to the more reserved industrial entrepreneur expectations about the business situation of the enterprises over the next six months.

Business climate in construction approximately retained its level from the previous month.

Business climate in retail trade rose by 3.2 percentage points due to the optimistic opinions and expectations of retail traders regarding the business condition of enterprises.

The business climate in the sector of services remained at approximately its November level. //
