site.bta51 New COVID-19 Cases in Bulgaria Overnight

June 16 (BTA) - There are 51 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria out of 1,794 samples tested over the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry informed on Tuesday.

The total number of confirmed cases in Bulgaria is 3,341 and 1,381 of them are active. The number of recovered patients reached 1,784 with 54 new recoveries since yesterday.

A total of 252 confirmed cases are hospitalized, and 14 of them are in intensive care.

The COVID-19 death toll in Bulgaria reached 176, with 2 new deaths overnight.
