Tourist trips to St Anastasia Island have resumed after a spell of bad weather at the end of December, Burgas Municipality said on Thursday. The weather forecast is for spring-like temperatures in early January.
Trips outside the summer season are arranged by prior request for groups of at least 15 passengers. The boat has a capacity of 50 passengers. Several trips can be made per day.
Visitors to St Anastasia Island can see a museum, a church with restored frescoes dating from the 14th century, a guest house with a view of Burgas Bay, a restaurant and a doctor's office with healing potions made from locally grown herbs.
