site.btaExpatriates Can Take Admission Exams to Universities in Bulgaria Online on July 15-16

Members of Bulgarian communities abroad seeking admission to universities in Bulgaria for the 2023/2024 academic year under Council of Ministers Decree No. 103 are invited to take a general exam and a specialized exam on July 15 and 16, 2023, between 10:00 hrs and 12:00 hrs., the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad says on its official website.

To take the exams, an applicant should visit the online Bulgarian state university application platform eskis.mon.bg, which is designed for Bulgarian expatriates and citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia. After registering with the platform, the applicant should use her/his username to open a starting page, at the bottom of which she/he will find a window which allows direct personalized access to the examination system.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science, the general exam will consist of two modules: Bulgarian language and literature, and history. Applicants can choose among four possible answers to each question in the modules. Only one of the four options is correct. Each correct answer given by the applicant adds one point to her/his exam score. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes. After the time is over, the answers given by the applicant are recorded in the system automatically.

The specialized exam will also consist of two modules: chemistry and biology. Again, applicants can choose among four possible answers to each question in the modules. Only one of the four options is correct. Each correct answer given by the applicant adds one point to her/his exam score. The duration of the exam is 60 minutes. After the time is over, the answers given by the applicant are recorded in the system automatically.
