Bulgarian wrestler Kiril Milov defeated Germany’s Lucas Lazogianis to win the European title in the men's 97 kg Greco-Roman event at the Senior European Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia. The Bulgarian won with a score of 7:1 points.

Earlier on Sunday, Abu Muslim Amaev won a silver medal for Bulgaria at the European Championships, after losing in the final in the men’s 67 kg Greco-Roman event to Hasrat Jafarov of Azerbaijan.

In Bratislava, Bulgaria also claimed a gold and a bronze - Olympic champion Magomed Ramazanov won the freestyle wrestling title at the men’s 86 kg event on Wednesday, while Bilyana Dudova won bronze at the women's 62 kg event on Friday.
