Aleksandra Totkova took sixth place at the men's and women's International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) World Cup in Briancon, France, which took place between July 17 and 19, the IFSC said.
Totkova was once again among the winners in the difficulty competition. She started the competition confidently, placing 12th in the qualifier and fifth in the semi-final. In the final, held late on Friday night, she scored 39+, leaving her just 3 grips away from a bronze medal.
With that ranking, added to fifth and 15th at the Innsbruck and Chamonix World Cups held in the last three weeks, Totkova sits 10th in the provisional World Cup standings, a challenge for 2024 ahead of two rounds remaining in the autumn.
The next big competition for Totkova is the European Championship at the end of August, where she will participate together with Niki Rusev, the IFSC said.
