site.btaFlight from Sofia to Heathrow Airport Cancelled

A Bulgaria Air flight from Sofia to Heathrow Airport which was to take off at 3:30pm on Friday has been cancelled after the airport shut down over a power outage due to a fire at a nearby electrical substation, Vasil Levski Sofia Airport said.

Any updates will be posted on Sofia Airport's website.

Citing Heathrow, Reuters reported that the airport, which was due to handle 1,351 flights during the day, would stay closed until midnight as it was experiencing a significant power outage.
