site.btaMRF - New Beginning Want State-Owned Store Chain to Carry Bulgarian Goods Only

MRF - New Beginning will propose the creation of a state-owned chain of stores that would carry goods only from Bulgarian producers, party leader Delyan Peevski said in Parliament lobby on Thursday.

In his words, an up to 10% mark-up should be allowed.

Peevski said the setting up of such a state company could go through the budget. He explained that the idea is for up to 100 types of goods, that are yet to be specified, to be sold by the chain at affordable prices. Peevski hopes the proposal will be supported by other parliamentary groups.

“The positions on Ukraine will be decided by the great powers, we will not decide anything,” Peevski commented.
