Bulgaria showed the second biggest decline in production prices in the EU in July compared to June 2023, according to Eurostat figures made public Tuesday. Across the EU, the production prices in industry went down by 0.6% and across the eurozone by 0.5%.
Compared to July 2022, the decline was 7.6% in the eurozone and 6.6% in the EU.
The biggest year-on-year decrease is seen in Ireland (- 39.5%), followed by Bulgaria (- 18.1%) and Italy (-13.8%).
In Bulgaria, production prices in July were 0.3% down from the June figure.
